Hotel staff are excellent from reception to kitchen and leisure. Room was tremendous for myself,wife and 2 kids. The pool, sauna, steam room was brilliant. Gym looks great from outside (did not try) the breakfast was perfect with plenty of options. A must stay place for a quiet get away.

A little far from the city, but a great place to stop if travelling down the country. The staff are really helpful. The amenities; pool, gym and free parking are great, considering the competition at that price point. The rooms are neutral, tasteful and comfortable, though the hallways look a little bleak.

Had a nice large family room with bunkbeds. Although wasn't the same as was shown on the website when booked it was adequate for the one night stay and was at a good price. Only issue was the bunk beds didn't have the sheets on them. So had to wrestle with that myself. 4 stars based on the price and was used for an early start to the zoo which is couple of minutes drive down the road. Have stayed in nicer Leonardo hotels, but this was good for what we needed.

Excellent place to stay while visiting Edinburgh. ~ £12 taxi distance to city center and walkable distance (if you enjoy walks) to Edinburgh zoo ( the one with pandas ). It's got a really good pool (needs booking on busy days - suggest you to call and book in advance) and spacious and clean rooms and spaces. Plenty of peaceful parking. Highly recommended.
